The Canadian Academy of Libya is a relatively new school. However, the idea for a school was long in the making. The management and Board agreed on the way forward for the school soon after the revolution.
The School is led by a Canadian-British expat in Libya since 2009, who has multiple degrees in Sociology and Social Work from York University in Toronto, Canada, as well as many years' experience in the education sector in North America, United Kingdom, Pakistan, the Middle East and North Africa.
He School's vision is to foster the creative potential in all our students. Creativity is the key for human ingenuity, for finding new solutions to new problems, and for visionary change in our world. Implicit in this view is the understanding that technological breakthroughs and a solid creative class go hand in hand.
